What: We source globally from all the major tea producers in an ethical and responsible manner. By blending and packing in Dubai our teas are fresher and it enables us to reduce our carbon footprint.
We take our environmental responsibility seriously and where possible use biodegradable materials (e.g. filter paper and tissue). We are responsive, flexible and consumer-focused.

With over 40 years of experience in the Tea industry, Richard has extensive knowledge and expertise within the trade.
He started as a Trainee Tea Taster at Tetley in the UK. After 19 years’ experience with Tetley and roles of
Group Tea Buying Manager and Group Tea Blender he moved overseas for and period of 6 years with A
M S Baeshen in Jeddah. Returning to the UK as Sales director launched an On line auction system with E Tea Trade.
In 2003 James Finlay ME office was established by Richard as MD where he then spent 10 years building
the Finlay Trading accounts, and with responsibility for their Jakarta, Hanoi and Malawi offices.
After a short assignment in Tanzania, Richard was MD of the Dubai Tea Trade Centre. Tea Trading International DMCC was established in 2015, with Richard assuming ownership in 2017.
Richard is regularly invited as a judge for the DMCC Dubai Tea Forum fine tea competitions.
Andre comes from a long career in Catering, Hospitality and Tea. His career started as a Pastry chef, through
Chef Patisserie to Food & Beverage Management. His experience is widespread and includes European and
Middle East Hotels.
His tea expertise has been acquired in the past 16 years whilst working for Ronnefeldt as the ME Sales
Manager. This gave him the opportunity to visit Plantations in Indian, Sri Lanka and Japan to further broaden
his knowledge.
He is a trained Tea Sommelier and is passionate about all teas. This is evident in the numerous tea tasting
trainings he has conducted over the years. Andre joined Tea Trading International as Director of Sales in June
2017.
